Add your own API key
Astreo is provider-agnostic and uses your own API key (bring-your-own-key). In the settings you choose provider and model — e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI/OpenRouter or DeepSeek — and store your key. That keeps AI costs transparent and on your side, with no hidden markup.
Reply suggestions
At the push of a button, Astreo creates a reply draft from the thread, which you refine in the editor. You decide the tone and the facts in the end.
Translation
Incoming messages can be translated, and you can phrase replies in the other person's language — handy for international customers.
Grammar
Before sending, the AI can smooth grammar and style on request, without taking the content out of your hands.
Privacy & the draft principle
- Only the needed context: the relevant thread or chosen excerpt goes to the AI — not the entire mailbox.
- No auto-send: AI outputs are always drafts; sending stays a deliberate human action.
- Your choice: you decide provider and key; without a stored key the AI features are inactive.
